Mark Russinovich on bogus antispyware applications

This is a great article by Mark Russinovich of Sysinternals on bogus antispyware products.

There's a lot of good stuff in that article and is another one well worth taking the time to read (lot of reading today I'm afraid).  Even if you don't read all of it, one lesson you should take away from it is to NEVER choose an antispyware product that you see in a popup ad!  Most are plain junk, some are hokey rip-offs and some even harbor spyware themselves!
