Interesting weather phenomenon

September 22nd, 2005

Take a look at this interesting [tag]weather[/tag] phenomenon I found using [tag]Davis[/tag] [tag]WeatherLink[/tag] 5.5.1 software - September has 32 days! Not 30, or 31 even. 32!

Don't believe me? Take a look:

WeatherLink 5.5.1

Yep, there you have it - September has two extra days! To be honest I've no idea why it did this (I'll have to ask them) but it's certainly an example of shoddy programming that seems to allow corrupted data from the weather station to create dates that are obviously garbage in the database. Add to this the fact that there doesn't seem to be a way to correct this problem without chucking the data for the whole month away.
