Save often with Ctrl + S

July 25th, 2005

In Windows most applications use the keystrokes Ctrl + S for saving. This allows you to save files quickly and easily without having to mess about with the pointer. If the document or file you're working on has not already been saved this will begin the Save As ... process and prompt you for a name and location.

Using this is quick and easy and once you master it you'll find yourself saving your files much more often - handy if your PC crashes!

Quick and easy!
