PC Mythbusting

March 6th, 2007

I'm planning a totally new series of posts called "PC Mythbusting."  The idea is simple - you send in your PC related myths and we see if they're true of not.  If you've seen the TV show Mythbusters then the idea should be clear to you.

Here are a few myths that we're going to be looking at.  these should give you an idea of the kind of myths that we're looking for:

  • Can ESD really damage computer components?
  • Does opening a hard drive really destroy it?

Get the idea?  Good!  Send me your PC myths!  If you want your name/web site listed as the person who suggested the myth, let me know in the note you send me.
