Microsoft considers gapingvoid site “suspicious”

October 4th, 2006

Welcome Gapingvoid visitors - so nice of Hugh to give me some link-love!

I've been using Internet Explorer 7 beta for a few weeks now and, on the whole, I find it reliable and robust.  I've also tested the new phishing filter and found it to be pretty reliable.  In fact, today is the first time that I've encountered a false positive.  It was for a page on Hugh Macleod's Gapingvoid blog (this page to be exact).

Gapingvoid is suspect

Now I know that Hugh uses a few NC-17 rated words and colorful metaphors every now and then, but I don't think that's any reason to label him suspicious

I'm assuming that it's all the eBay links on the page that the phishing filter is picking up on.
