Internet Explorer 7 development has finished!

August 23rd, 2006

It would seem that the development stage of [tag]Internet Explorer 7[/tag] is over and that it is now locked down in terms of features.  In other words, it is getting ready to ship.

Is it ready for shipping?  I dunno, I've not had a chance to play with this version, but Microsoft are obviously keen to tell us about all the CSS changes and bug fixes they've made to the browser.  [tag]CSS[/tag] is pretty important because it controls how we "see" the web, but more interested in security.

Not ready to install Internet Explorer 7 on your corporate network?  Then it's time to download and install the "Toolkit to Disable Automatic Delivery of [tag]IE7[/tag]".  This will give you some breathing space and allow your to deploy the browser in your own time.
