gHacks has a tip to help prevent data theft by keyloggers - use the Windows Onscreen Keyboard.

It's not foolproof, but it is a way to bypass the keyboard, especially on systems that don't belong to you.

Oh, and don't fall into the mindtrap of thinking that you can't get a USB keylogger - you can!
