Why is my laptop keyboard typing numbers when I press certain keys.
This is because most notebook keyboards have a number pad incorporated into the right-hand side of the keyboard. Numbers are being typed because the [tag]NumLock[/tag] is active.
To disable this function press the NumLock key (might be marked NumLock or have a symbol that looks like a calculator on it) on the keyboard (you might need to press the Fn function key and the NumLock simultaneously).
