My reading – April 30

Saturday, April 30th, 2005

Currently I'm reading Kevin Mitnick's book "The Art of Deception: Controlling the Human Element of Security". If you don't know who Mitnick is then take a look at this page. He was the most notorious hacker ever to be captured. His official site can be found here.

Very interesting book that shows that the weakest part of IT security is the humans behind the keyboard or on the phone.

Fascinating read.

Kudos to Barnes & Noble for updating the cover image for "Beginning Programming" ... all the others big online bookstores seem to be running off the old, incorrect cover image.
